Rashella Maria and Ariel Dominique pose from a scene in Dr. Carolyn Wistrand’s “She Danced With A Redfish,” performed over the past two weekends in the Cook Theatre. Maria had the role as the young Marie Laveau, who became New Orleans’ “Voudou Queen,” and Dominique portrayed her best friend, Bridget. The performances premiered the program’s 82nd season.
