Dillard’s theater program will offer the play “A Woman From the Town” this weekend, with two evening performances at 7:30 p.m. today and Saturday, Feb. 18-19, in Cook Theatre. The play, written by Samm-Art Williams and directed by LaSharron Purvis, offers a look at rural and urban development as a farm girl-tuned-successful real estate developer returns to North Carolina farming country for revenge against people who treated her unkindly.
