Dillard University is preparing for the return of Spring Fest this April, bringing a full week of events to campus under this year’s theme, JetBleu Holiday, this Wednesday through next Tuesday. Known for blending music, community, and student engagement, the Spring Fest tradition brings fun to the campus for the semester.
The Dillard University Campus Programming Team recently posted the official flyer on Instagram, and students quickly filled the comments, hyping up the excitement across campus.
This year’s festivities will feature artist La Reezy, alongside Dillard student performers OG the Artist, Tr3TakeFlight, QThaPlaya, and $Hamm.
La Reezy also shared his anticipation on Instagram, posting, “See yall soon, I’m excited to give a great performance!”
Spring Fest begins Wednesday, April 8, with the Terrace Takeover from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Kearny Terrace, followed by a Fashion Show and Concert on Kabacoff Terrace from 7 to 9 p.m. Events continue throughout the week, including a Food Festival and Bleu Wall Street Expo, a FOAM Party, and Friday’s Stress Fest featuring inflatables and a crawfish boil near the Student Union.
The weekend will include the Fake the Funk Talent Show on Saturday and the Vision Quest Worship Experience on Sunday. The celebration continues into the following week with the New Members Presentation in Dent Gym on Monday and concludes with a Terrace Tuesday edition of “First Day Out” and Midnight Breakfast in Kearny Dining Hall.
With a full schedule of events, Spring Fest is set to bring energy to campus all week long.
